I think it is a hell of a better option that a Cherokee Trailhawk, at least in Badlands trim. Most people only drive to a trail-head anyway.  Plus all these options and gear...looks like a great little weekend getaway rig.

It would only be a problem if this were THE Bronco. As it is, they leverage the name for some extra revenue, and the regular Bronco gets built.

Sigh, they won’t sell and they’ll never even realize why.”

Yeh know.... a destination charge should drop this fucker on my driveway.

Financial experts, at least popular ones, have an interest not in your individual financial well-being, but in selling their image and product. Their advice in general strokes is good enough to mass market, but it should be taken with a heavy grain of salt that it likely doesn’t apply to you in full, and isn’t

If you are smart, you can finance a car at 0% and you won’t get screwed too badly. If you are smarter, you will find a decent used car, pay cash and laugh on the inside when your poor friends talk about car payments.

But you can give those people reasonable advice without giving information that is blatantly false.

Plus an old car might be cheaper to buy, but if it requires extensive repairs it’s not actually cheaper to run. I could either spend $300 on a new car or spend $300 a month (on average) fixing the Focus that’s still rusting in my garage which still can’t safely or reliably get to work in the morning. I wonder what’s

Dave Ramsey is an idiot. cars are in that weird valley where they cost a lot to buy (probably anyone’s second biggest purchase after their house) but don’t gain value. And they’re machines, so they wear out. Telling people they shouldn’t buy a new car unless they’re worth millions and can pay cash is just some

Exactly. New cars used for daily driving aren’t “assets” but are tools to get things done in everyday life. Why this guy is conflating it with flippable assets like real estate or stocks is confounding.

I’m gonna toss my prediction out ... the top of the line Bronco fully optioned will exceed $60k ... maybe even touch 70?. The cheapest Baby Bronc (the Sport I believe?) will start about $30k.

Hardly anything costs $25k anymore my dude. I’m betting the 2dr starts at $31k-$32k and the 4 door starts at $36k with options to over $60k.

Theres no way it’s going to be 25k.

Maybe the base model is under $20k if there are no doors or roof included.

Lol look at the specs again. No way this is priced like a Honda HRV.its going to be 30-55 stickered

Consider the spread between base models and loaded models for trucks, I wouldn’t be surprised to see MSRP range from $30k-$55k+ Especially given how many different options and packages are going to be available.

Nah, Sasquatch will be a something like the Rubicon. Probably the 35s, lockers, skid plates, etc.

The Raptor is supposedly coming a year or so after the initial launch.

Are you really surprised? It’s 2020 and the Bronco is not a full-size vehicle.

I feel that most voting NP aren’t reading the whole thing. Can you replace it yourself cheaper? Sure you can, but that’s no the question. At $2000 to replace the clutch, you’re in for about $6K. A quick search in Auto Trader shows that you can find the similar 1-series BMWs easily within the $5K-$6K range.
