Yes, automation generally starts with simple repetive tasks that require little manual input or thinking. Even highways are littered (quite literally sometimes) with hazards too difficult for binary action. But at least it's a reasonable start rather than boiling the ocean.
But they're not even doing any more imperialism, they seem fat and contented to just do nothing for anyone but themselves. Also a huge problem with the whole story
It’s not even clear to me that anyone, short of Alicent and her father, actually even wants to rule Westeros. And given that we don't get any other perspective around who the other lords want, it's really hard for me to give a shit about any of them
Once again thought this was a pretty dreadful hour of the show. Nothing is compelling about any of this, higborn aristocrats fucking their family members literally and figuratively to move up or down the highest positions by a spot is just a terribly boring conceit. Not to mention the kid scene is just another retread…
I literally couldn’t see anything during that scene. It was terrible, I had no clue what kid was fucking with the dragon or anything.
It’s very fucking stupid tbh.
I hope everyone keeps the same energy for hating the last season of Game of Thrones for speed running everything for this season. Daemon's wife's immolation had *zero* emotional weight because you hadn't had any time with them, hell most people don't even know her name, let alone the kids names. The obvious bastard…
All of Alicents scenes in this episode reinforce my head canon that her and Rhaenyra were/are in love or lovers before she's arranged to marry Viserys. Alicent can't move past it, and Rhaenyra has started to. I don't think there was sex because daemon is impotent right? Or at least that was hinted at in episode 1.…
Overall the show was a good first episode. No big swings, but that's OK. Needed to do a little more plot building/character identification so I could just tell who these people were. The asoiaf reference was lame as hell though.
The helmet is a great example of something that sounds cool on paper but looks really dumb in real life
It may be a distinction without difference but she does call him "Uncle Thor" at the end of the movie
Story was underdeveloped in order to make room for more jokes,Korg narrations, and Matt Damon. Weaker entry in the MCU not too much terribly better than The Dark World. The fact that we didn’t really see any consequences to what Gorr was doing was a major letdown, and there’s zero reason Hercules couldn’t have been in…
Im still trying to figure out if all Asgardians are god like or just a select few from the warrior bloodline. This movie did little to clear that up.
I mean it's almost certainly him going so far north he comes back around to the east side of essos or something like that
Also he almost certainly will not be going south of the wall.
Oh surely literal rocket scientists and engineers will be easy enough to replace right?
I know taste is subjective this just wasn’t a very good marvel movie. There was little enjoyable, the Illuminati scenes were weird as hell and not in a good way, and hey maybe we should get away from the heros fighting heros trope. Also calling the MCU the 616 universe is a real slap in the face to marvel comics
I would simply not have TSA
But The Crow in general is a product of it's time. Hell James O Barr has talked about listening to Joy Division and how that inspired him in the 80s to write the thing. The aesthetic is entirely 80s/90s industrial
