CANYONEROOOOOOOO

The problem with that is that they’re all the same, and the only really interesting story involves Eric Draven. The bigger problem is that the story is incredibly reliant on being a product of its time, and it doesn’t get any more spot on than when it was already released.

The biggest problem looking at synthetic/artificial life in Star Trek today is our knowledge of just how fucking hard it is to make an actual AI interface today. To Create something like Data/The Doctor/Vic Fontaine would be nearly impossible, so you have to really suspend your disbelief on what is even allowable from

And the fire stick appears to be drastically underpowered to even run the damn UI either.

Yeah, everything is OK until you hit the back door, then it all goes to shit.

One thing I noticed once I saw a few of these in person is that they are incredibly ugly.

FWIW this article seems to indicate that final assembly of the vehicle will be done in Mexico with Rivian just providing the underpinnings.

Hopefully the R rated Scorpion movie answers the burning question, Does Scorpion, the video game character, fuck?

Because the system can malfunction or error, or the cop can use it as an excuse when it didn’t really return anything. It’s basically giving them another excuse locked behind a 3rd party contract for data to violate the 4th amendment.

It’s not about an expectation of privacy, it’s about being pulled over and harassed for any variety of reasons when you haven’t done anything to break the law. This is just another reason for cops to pull people over to violate 4th amendment rights when they don’t really have probably cause.

Such as this one.

I mean, that rumor about Lucas doesn’t make any sense because Filoni is already on board at Lucasfilm?

Spend 20 bucks on one of these. It’s great for cars without bluetooth or an AUX input.

My first impression was with a non critical eye, but nothing stood out as being exceptional poor from a panel gap or quality perspective.

And it is purpose built (at least the preproduction ones) for a utilitarian/off road/adventure lifestyle market, so it makes sense.

You know the interesting thing about your last point is that Tesla has refused to learn from 100 years of previous mistakes in the manufacturing process. It remains to be seen whether Rivian will make those same mistakes or learn from experienced professionals. It doesn’t have to emulate Tesla in this regard.
