I do not believe that if there was a workable movie in the original footage Snyder shot they would have reshot/rewrote 2/3rds of the movie.

And didn’t they have to reshoot all that they did because what Snyder had was fucking bad to begin with? I mean if they could have cut the movie from what was available they certainly wouldn’t have let Whedon redo like 2/3rds of it.

I think that theory may have just gone out the window with this episode. They clearly wanted baby yoda to harvest material, whether that is to make new clones of him, or to harvest midichlorians, I think baby yoda being a clone is now done for. 

Because he wants to do it cheaper and faster than any other car company and he thinks all these things they do are “just because” apparently.
