Analytics being passed to fans as something they should absolutely have to understand and care about more than winning games is one of the greatest travesties of baseball. People like Sawchick care more about completely made up bullshit (wOBA for example) than actually watching a player play the game.

Having multiple entry time periods for baseball players is also a problem. You have 16 year old kids signed out of Latin America, and then 18, 21, and 22 year olds drafter after their Senior, Junior, Senior years again.
