Yeah this generic ass movie looks real imaginative 

Except the Joker is a fictional character. 

Yeah man, we’ve seen people absolutely shit the bed over and over again while ignoring stories told by people who understand these characters but fuck the source material. Also this does not look amazing. It looks generic, hackneyed, and tired. 

But showing him as some guy who had life go to shit on him humanizes him.

So far to me this looks like Arthur Fleck is a Wayne employee who wants to be a comedian. He has a mental break at work, gets fired, gets made fun of on TV for his unfunny comedy, spirals further out of control and tries to take revenge on those who he's sees as enemies. 

I just can’t get around to the idea of wanting to humanize the Joker. On it’s face it’s juts a bad idea, in execution it appears to be a nightmare.

Make Batman a paranoid nonsensical rambling mess with no apparent connection to the source material? we’ve seen that movie already.
