yeah he states that he hates having a payment, so there is certainly still a lien out there.

I guess I feel like that’s different if you’re fundamentally changing how the manufacturer feels the product works best. In that SAAB and Mustang example, sure you can chip it, but then you have to run premium which wasn’t the intent of the manufacturer.
My best guess is that tesla is data harvesting all their cars pretty heavily and this would disconnect you from the network and they’d sue the shit out of you for it.
I have no idea how its legal to buy something with actual hardware right there but have to pay extra to unlock it .
That top 10 is really good but will be a kick in the dick for the "once they ran out of book material the show got bad" people.
yeah but it actually does more than just shave 3 minutes off the average commute.
It’s fucking amazing to me that spending at least $11 billion to improve commute times is more politically viable that just adding real mass transit to an area desperately in need of it.
I once got on a relatively short flight (2 hours) and 2 strangers in the seats across the aisle talked from the moment they got on to the plane until they got off of the plane, it was among the weirdest things I’ve ever observed.
Except he lost his court case against Trump didn’t he?
And other manufacturers, this feels pretty similar to my time at a construction manufacturer.
This is to me the ultimate problem that GRRM is having. There is no eloquent way to shift the narrative from a political intrigue story to a full on war against the supernatural story and he went so long without really making it a focus that the narrative shift can’t be handled effectively.
I think it’s pretty clear the relationship with Lucasfilm and Hamill is strained at this point because as he says “they don’t listen to his ideas” so it’s hard to take much of what he’s saying at face value if it truly is sour grapes.
Do that and get hit and the insurance companies will put liability on you.
I’ve kind of stalled out on reading Washington’s biography, but from what I’ve read I’m certain of one thing. George Washington would have fucking HATED Donald Trump.
I don’t disagree that it’s going to be further down the road than initially expected, I also don’t think any company is going to give up. I continue to doubt the viability of replacing the individual owned passenger car with one, but more the commercial applications like you mentioned.
I think that’s less of an issue than snowpacked roads tbh.
Well it didn’t cover the whole payment, but it allowed us to better understand what we were spending on and make a decision. We were spending too much on dumb services ie paying $19 a month for Sirius because our 5 month/$25 trial had ran out.
Yeah, I think that’s an important part of the story too, I wasn’t desperate to replace my old car, but I found the right car, at the right price, with the right options to buy.
B5 was an easy sell to my wife, she wasn’t so crazy about the Plum Crazy ones.....
