This is a lot of words to say that the MLBPA has long failed it’s members in it’s sole goal of putting more money into it’s members pockets. Prioritizing labor peace over actually doing like, anything. 

Eh, depending on the brand I guess luxury bags/accessories do tend to wear better over time in my anecdotal experience. I’ve had a coach wallet I got from an outlet store for like 6 years and it’s still barely broken in versus the $10 dollar walmart “leather” wallet that I’d replace yearly.

At some point when real polling data starts to come out he will get gunshy against throwing money away I would bet, but who knows. Him being notoriously cheap may play to an advantage here. He hasn’t actually spent any real money so far, once he looks at the cost he may quit.
