I thought about getting a few games, but figured what the heck was the point since even if I bought the game doesn’t do me any good if I can’t play it. I have a PS3 and a Vita, but in the event that those die, which they will, what am I going to play it on? Sony needs to figure out a way we can actually play these

Just last week I spent about $70 on pretty much every JRPG on the PS1 store that I didn’t own. No regrets though because most of the games go for like $100 if you try to find physical copies.

Why couldn’t they have made a cool demo like in RE 7. That was interesting.

I’d bet it’s statistically insignificant. The number of people who claimed to be upset by this was a fraction of a percentage point of total gamers. The number of those people who did anything about would be a fraction of that fraction. The number of people who still have a PS3 hooked up and are still actively looking

I didn’t buy anything, but did redownload the Parasite Eve games. Not sure why I ever would’ve deleted them, but whatever.

I definitely picked up a used PS3 for $40 online and then supported my amazing local games store by getting most of the exclusives I care about for another ~$70, but I don’t feel compelled to financially support Sony for any of this nonsense. It’d be a different story if the announcement ended with “...and we’ve also

I bought like 8 games.

I definitely gave Atlus a nice boost in Vita income. Also it’s giving me the push to finally mod for microSD, so I’ll act like this announcement didn’t happen yet to keep me motivated.

Pretty much all of /r/vita according to Reddit

Also Finally a Resident Evil game in VR!!(...well non Sony VR , which is a first!)

I’m sorry but that choice in the first game to me was always more “ok, who do you want to die. Mr Boring or Space Racist.”

Also, hellooooo fetish

It’s because Hitman 2016 was a commercial disappointment to Square Enix so they pulled their funding and tried to sell the studio. IO’s management bought them out but basically had to cut the studio to the bone in the process and a cinematic team isn’t really a vital requirement for the sort of game Hitman is.

Singularity too. That’s a sleeper if ever there was one.

Zack should play the original Prey(also on the Doom 3 engine) as well. That game holds up.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification.

I thought they had announced they were going to release everything on PC from now on? I guess I’m either wrong or they backtracked.

Game pass is on pc as well.

His point had fuck all to do with backwards compatibility, and was just a lame emotional post that couldn’t answer why Sony and Nintendo don’t support their older console games.

Why do they need to be mutually exclusive? What’s wrong with offering the ability to play old games and new games? Why are Sony fans so dense?

I’m just waiting for the Wild Hunt next-gen upgrade to play it again...
