Settlement building “focus” isn’t my thing. If it’s streamlined and not entirely necessary I’ll be ok with it. If it’s mandatory, and I have to keep refortifying these settlements or defend them from invaders as a major gameplay feature, I’m really iffy. It’s not my cup of tea.

Right? I might add Skylines to waste some time on in a couple of years but Farming simulator is a VERY hard pass for me.

On X-Com2 I got about 2 missions in before the enemy would always spot me and shoot me through the cover. I might as well have been behind tissue paper instead of a concrete wall. I just found it to be complete unbalanced compared to the first one. I can understand starting off at a weaker position but I basic stealth

I hear you on xcom though.  Such a great game, but at some point you just get tired of missing on a point blank shotgun that was 99%.  It’s just piss poor design.

Thanks a lot! That straw trick is genius. I’ll give it a whirl and hopefully don’t need to take anything apart.

What do you recommend for cleaning the rubber of the buttons? I choked on coffee and spit it out on my controller and now my buttons stick. Was going to use alcohol but now I have no idea what to do.

Tell the person holding the gun to your head and forcing you to read this that they’re not practicing proper social distancing.

Some of the haunts rules are so painfully vague, especially in the expansion.

I have a friend who is a board game expert, but somehow he learned the rules to Betrayal wrong and it was physically painful to him when he learned you can only explore one room per turn (or more specifically, only one room that grants a card). He’d always been choosing high-speed characters and just zooming through

With PC is another story though. I mean, the advantages a keyboard and mouse can give over a console player is basically the key issue.

He saw Buttercup, a fat woman and immediately lept to “SJW’S/PC GONE MAD/PANDERING CONSPIRACY/WAKE UP SHEEPLE!”.

Agreed. Could be an article about snails mating, and this guys kind comes out saying this shit

If there’s any game in the series that really doesn’t need remake treatment, that’s the one. And honestly, I’d rather get a new entry with a stronger identity (ala RE7) than a souped up version of anything else. Of the three most recent Resident Evil games, that’s been by far the most interesting of the bunch.

Guess I should’ve bought Ultimate instead of Gold for PSO2 yesterday. Oops...

I’m really not either but Xbox Series X is an easy buy for me because of BC and gamepass. The fact my entire library will play on it and I won’t need to buy Halo Infinite and possibly other Series X launch titles.

Except they withdrew from all those big events long before covid 19 was a concern.

They were talking about the ps5 before it was even officially announced but in the last year they have said nothing

Clicked on this article just for that. So disappointed.

Here’s a sobering figure for us PC gamers: a quick perusal of the Steam Hardware Survey report page will reveal that the architecture Microsoft has specified here outperforms approximately 98.9% of all PCs on Steam period.

Grabbed it on gog, but would be more than happy to buy an xbox port, as that’s where I mostly game now.
