I was only a couple of years behind you and living at home but otherwise, yeah, same. It was not really a good game but that didn’t stop us from spending entire nights playing it. It was janky as hell but it was really great for a laugh. I'm almost ashamed to admit I took the time to get 1000/1000 gamerscore in the

I’ll give you the others but I thought the general consensus on Blinx and Voodoo Vince was that they actually were pretty good but overlooked? I remember them being fairly well received critically. For my part, I certainly enjoyed the remaster of Voodoo Vince. Which was the first time I played it (hence overlooked).

Wow. I didn't even see it in the article. Never had a chance to beat it back in the day. Always wanted to go back to it so it's a welcome addition.

I’m also not ready to shell out for a flight stick for this one game, but I can say it’s infinitely easier and more enjoyable to play with a controller. Flight games are one genre that I can’t seem to adjust to m/kb for.

My thoughts exactly. It’s a little strange to say goodbye to the last generation while many games are still releasing for that generation. And of course the obvious issue of nobody at all being able to actually buy a next gen console. This has been the most...interesting launch of my entire life. To say the least.

This is the more exciting part of the announcement for me. Between layout and organization the app was downright awful.

So I guess it’s just me that is terrified of the cat scratching the hell out of that screen more than anything else? Unless it’s declawed, in which case Herman Hulst is a monster.

I would.

I mean, they didn’t really need to buy Codemasters to make a new Star Wars Racer. They’ve already got Criterion.

My son accidentally bought the digital version of Rare Replay back when that came out when I already had the disc version. Microsoft refunded the charge but let me keep the digital license. That’s the one and only time I’ve had to deal with refunding a digital purchase though, and it doesn’t seem like it’s the norm.

It might not be the best to listen to on its own but during gameplay it’s my favorite Halo OST. With that said, I’ve absolutely listened to it on it’s own. But Halo 4 is my favorite one, so I’m one of those people. It had a solid emotionally charged story that wasn't just lore dumps and generic ooh-rah stuff.

I was just thinking last night while messing with settings; “Who actually likes chromatic abberation?”

IIRC there was that project they were working on years ago called “Forerunner” or something like that that sounded a whole lot like what Destiny became. I remember reading about it in an issue of Game Informer and thinking it sounded absolutely nuts for the time.

I’m thinking of the originators of the genre. Things like Neuromancer. And especially the pen and paper game this is based off of that basically states in the player’s handbook that being cool takes priority over anything else. Being edgy for the sake of it is Cyberpunk’s entire schtick.

a sign of a game that might be desperate to be edgy”

I honestly loved this game. I also loved Origins. But didn’t play DA2. The whole thing sucked me in up until the Hissing Wastes. That place was just too damn big and too much nothing. But otherwise I never agreed with all the negativity surrounding it. The multiplayer was fairly entertaining too while it lasted.

They're probably just as upset as I am that there still hasn't been a sequel to Jade Empire. I'm sure that's the reason.

It’s almost like Epic should have made an Avengers game.

Same exact boat here. Luckily I didn’t actually pay for it since I had that $50 credit from being one of the suckers that bought a Harman/Kardon Invoke. I actually loved that thing but Microsoft really should have probably stayed out of the virtual assistant game. TLDR; I still kind of wish I’d used the credit on

What gets me is that most conspiracies involve someone benefitting from whatever secret is being kept. Who the hell benefits from lying about the Earth not being flat? What does anyone gain by hiding the secret of a flat Earth? It's the most pointless conspiracy theory.
