The immeasurable convenience of being able to jump between platforms on a whim without losing progress. Especially for those of us with shared entertainment spaces.

Absolutely right. The PS5 looks like one of those awful “futuristic” looking console designs I used to draw in my school notebooks before we knew what the PS2 looked like. It literally only matches some people's routers. The Series X may be simple but that's part of the charm for me. It's this monolithic little box

“Just make Scott Pilgrim backwards compatible”

Full disclosure: I like the Series X design and think the PS5 is aesthetically atrocious while also not matching a thing I own and being too tall to fit anywhere. This comment will however be completely unbiased in this regard.

Just make Scott Pilgrim backwards compatible you bastards. Figures they'd make us rebuy it.

I’d be surprised if the PS5 isn’t priced higher than the Series X by at least $50. Rumors of especially high manufacturing costs, for one. Also Sony doesn’t have the success of something like Game Pass to recoup costs. They have PS Now but it’s not as successful as Game Pass. Lastly, and maybe this is just me, Sony of

Dangit. I’ve been emailing my friend’s uncle that totally works at Nintendo every month and he hasn’t gotten back to me.

You’re not wrong. However 4K TVs can still output HDR in 1080p content. None of these rumors have mentioned HDR, and I personally think it adds more visually than 4K.

or well full Nintendo.”

That's actually one of my main concerns with the notion of a beefier model. The battery life already pretty much sucks. I get 2 hours or less in handheld mode so they'd have to go big on the battery. Otherwise it would never leave the dock.

I agree, I’d have to imagine they’d have a 1080p “performance” type setting, so ultimately it’s a nitpick from me. At the end of the day I have two main concerns; the battery life is already pretty paltry. And the cost of a 4K capable model. Nothing much to do but wait until they announce something.

Said it before and I’ll say it again; no need for 4K on Switch. More power for better overall visuals and 60fps across the board and 1080p standard with HDR in handheld and TV modes. That’s what I’d prefer.

Obviously I don’t speak for everyone, but it seems like any confusion could be cleared up with 10 seconds of explanation. I know that when I I was a kid I made damn sure it was absolutely clear which version of something I wanted. And if I got a lesser or different version it was because my parents cheaper out on

Not a huge fan of this design, though this was never the version I was going to buy anyway. Imo it would look substantially better if that grill were more of a lighter gray.

I mean there’s a whole other Xbox coming out that is more powerful than the competition.

Tbh not really. This things been leaking so much it might as well have overactive bladder. So they just went full on "fuck it" after this most recent leak.

Don’t disagree necessarily. Story-wise it’s pretty standard shonen fare. But where it won me over is the endearing characters with actual growth, killer fights and general lack of filler. Four seasons and done. Tells its story and then wraps up nicely. No cavalcade of OVAs and nebulously canonical movies to sift

Exactly. Destiny’s Broom-bot is a perfectionist. It cares about it’s work. Avengers’ bot is a disgruntled worker just going through the motions so Stark doesn’t decommission him.

Cant help but notice that this piece of shit cop keeps covering his camera in the video. That’s a rough watch and I hope they throw the whole ass book at him.
