I’ll be honest, that was me for years. I swore by the Tartakovsky series (and still think it’s great). But a couple years ago I decided to give it a shot after they announced season 6 on Netflix and I was surprise by how good it actually was. There’s some Jar-Jar and droids centric episodes that were obviously made

The general reaction to Solo was weird. Anecdotally speaking I really liked it, and everybody I know irl that saw it did too. And iirc it was for the most part met with positive reviews from critics. While everybody I know that didn’t (or refused to) are still convinced it’s some irredeemable trash. The movie didn’t

To be honest, I always meant to as well, but never got around to it. I just wish they’d designed the Switch to allow for battery replacement.

Yeah, they sold it for $30 I think on their support site. They might still. I always meant to buy it but never got around to it.

Anybody remember the movie viewer in MGS2:Substance where you could swap out the “actors” with different characters? Reminds me of that. Had some good times with that.

Which is a shame. Hashtag Team SoloWasGood.

I mean, I wouldn’t call it terrible. Just....pointless. Its worst offense was giving us “Skyguy” and “Snips”, but we at least got a great show out of it (minus the Jar-Jar and droids episodes).

Remember how Nintendo sold a higher capacity battery for the Wii U game pad that you could install yourself? Oh, how we laughed then...

If your parents are anything like my parents were back when they bought my little ass Pokémon Red for Christmas then they don’t give a shit about anything about the game past the point where they bought it for you and you should just shut up and be grateful they even did that, you little dickskinner.

I feel the exact opposite. I don’t have all that much trouble with Dark Souls/Bloodborne but Nioh kicks the piss out of me. I bought it over a year ago and couldn’t get past that spider lady boss who’s like the second major boss. I got about 15 levels above recommended and looked up strategies online and she still

I liked it as an alternative for a mouse for desktop navigation and for certain games (strategy games, for example) but I could never get a fee for it for anything else.

Been waiting for a sale on this....but now....do I want to line Zuckerberg’s scummy pockets? -_-

Reading through these comments and feeling a little weird for honestly kinda digging the poncho. More games should have ponchos.

Battleborn was a good game that came out at a bad time and didn’t do enough to set itself apart. I haven’t played it in probably a year and a half, but I wish it would have been more successful.

I felt the same way. She joins up really late in the story. It definitely felt like that wanted things left open for sequels, at least. I kind of got that feeling just from the title. They can work with Star Wars: Jedi as a franchise.

Polygon has a good write up on it. And a different commenter claims it was confirmed by Lucasfilm but I haven’t personally verified that. It seems that Ilum’s crystals were harvested for the Death Star and Ilum also becomes Starkiller Base.

I’m aware. However, this game pretty much proves that Starkiller Base, or at least what would become Starkiller Base, was underway for decades before TFA. It was likely originally just a source of crystals to power the Death Star’s laser before eventually being weaponized itself.

It struck me as odd at first, but I tried not to dwell on it. Video game logic is fun. I’m also loving all the nods and references though

I could see it happening, to be honest. They’d probably be able to reuse a lot of visual assets from RE2, which would make development easier than RE2 where they did everything from the ground up.

Right? I mean, I get it with some remakes but this one was essentially a whole new game.
