Ditto, except two weeks. The timing in this release is is just perfect. And The Expanse just a week before that is icing on the cake.

One year later and, imo, still kind of boring. Unrivaled immersion, gorgeous vistas, and it’s all sorta dull. I’ve played few games more than the original but I haven’t been able to vibe with this. 

This is all verifiably incorrect and these comments reek of personal bias. 

I watch like no streamers, like I honestly find it kind of boring to watch others play games, but from what little I’ve used of both.....yeah. I pretty much preferred Mixer. 

Oh, I know, and I did that.  It then I had that weird feeling of knowing people I can’t hear are listening to me. I couldn’t shake it. 

I mean, it’s not a huge hassle to use our phones but at that point we’re essentially playing Switch. It’s honestly just weird that they don’t allow you to have a dedicated fireteam chat. It seems like such a no-brainer. 

Had the same setup going last night. People partied up between Xbox, PS4 and PC and it was kind of a thing of beauty. Definitely need to use discord or something for chat though because within one match there was already edgy teens keeping things classy.

I don’t disagree at all. The thing I’m seeing is Sony falling back on the same cocksure mentality that was responsible for the PS3’s launch troubles. I almost fully expect a repeat of “FIVE HUNDRED NINTEY NINE US DOLLARS!!!”.

When they announced that it’d be CG I was holding out hope that it’s be on the level of Polygon Pictures (BLAME! pulls it off wonderfully) but this....is not that.

If there’s one thing Bungie does exceedingly well it’s crafting lore. They’re better world-builders and lore-crafters than storytellers. People can say what they will about the delivery or gameplay but good god does Destiny’s lore just hit all the right buttons for me.

This is accurate. It almost feels like Sony simply *wants* people to remember it with the same fondness as things like Shadow of the Colossus or Spyro. I just haven’t met anyone that actually does. They were alright games back then and this just looks like that again.
