Welp, they’re getting my money for the Contra Collection simply for Contra 3. I used to play that so much back on the SNES. 

As the other commenter said I think it just has more to do with this game only really being “good” when it had little to no competition. And that period didn’t last very long. It seemed to die down fairly quickly because there were better alternatives on the market.  

I dunno if your comment was sarcastic or not because internets but I agree. When my kid wanted me to put that on I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. 

I’ve said it time and time again and I’ll keep on saying it;

That, “Whaddya sellin’?” And “Got a lotta good things on sale, stranger” get regular use by me and my brother to this day. 

Iirc he was originally supposed to return in RE5 but RE5 being RE5 it nixed so many great ideas early on, like an army of El Gigantes. 

Hey, James Woods, I don’t know where you’ve been but Alita’s gotten plenty of coverage here. And it is most definitely not an original work by any stretch of the word. 

Well, this is a terrible name for a fun game. Granted I’ve only played it extensively on PS4, but I’ve had fun with it. Tried it on PC a few months ago and it was dead. It struck a good balance between the attempted realism of PUBG and the fast-paced nature of Fortnite (minus the dumbass building). Haven’t played it…

I was just thinking about Splinter Cell the other day and how we’ve had multiple entries in franchises like Assassin’s Creed and FarCry but not a single Splinter Cell this gen. And then I missed Splinter Cell.

She’s actually 100 years old but her body doesn’t age! It’s gotta be one or the other, right?

Um, sure. MGR is well liked and was generally well reviewed. PvZ2 the same. Republic Commando is a classic. The only one that I would agree on is Adventure Time. 

I’m a sucker for monkey types so I really want to love Grookey but....dammit just look at that rabbit.

This definitely feels like a mediocre game that gets a pass on brand, but these things sell apparently. The anime fan’s tolerance for mediocre games is high unfortunately so there’s not much pressure on devs to make something better.

I was really expecting a Skyward Sword port but Links’s Awakening being my second favorite Zelda game I’ll absolutely take this as an alternative.
