I mean, don’t spend all that money because of my recommendation but I’m playing it on a One X with a 4K/HDR TV and it’s just gorgeous. It might be the prettiest game I’ve ever played.

If only Bungie tied your character info and data to your bungie.net account or something. If they bring cross-play to Destiny 2 this would be the only thing that would stop me from jumping from PS4 to Xbox for the game. Not willing to grind through all that content again.

I own all of them as well, and I think this is great. Personally, I prefer Xbox (except in terms of exclusives) and would rather buy my third party multiplayer games there but rarely can justify it since all my friends are on PS4. With cross-play I’ll be able to buy them on my preferred platform and not be locked into…

The distinction that Imake however, and I feel it’s an important one, is that Sony has allowed cross-play between their own platforms and PC. Never with a direct competitor’s hardware or network. That’s where Microsoft has really shone in all this.

This. Maybe in the early days it’d be a de facto advantage but these days I know people who could, after all is said and done, run circles around M/K players. It really comes to down to personal skill as much as anything.

That’s the damn truth. As excited as I am for DMC5 I’ll always be sad we never got DmC2.
