Sleater-Kinney and Wonder Years are not very good (my humble opinion of course) and not very "punk". Bomb the Music Industry and The Menzingers missing is criminal though, I agree. The Flatliners as well (in terms of young and hungry). Also missing some of the older greats that are still going like Lagwagon, Strung

If I remember correctly, he talks about how he might be autistic in the book.

Check out the newest Strung Out album (Transmission.Alpha.Delta) from last year if you haven't. It got me back into the band and became my album of yhe year last year. That shit is dark, heavy and super technical but extremely melodic and catchy. Sounds like a band half their age. I'd go as far as saying that Strung

We Cool? is simply the best. I can listen to it on repeat all day. There's just something about it.

I actually think it was Big Audio Dynamite in the late 90s. Mick Jones of The Clash has weirdly, silently been one of the biggest proponents for free music.

I've gotta agree. Something about Scramble just makes it perfect to me. 25 will forever be by jam.

I'm so glad he left Propagandhi. Both were better for it. Weakterthans rule and his solo stuff is awesome, and Propagandhi was finally free to become the titans of punk/prog/thrash/fucking shredfests that they were always destined to be.

Saw this tour in Toronto a few weeks ago and it was awesome. Can't wait to watch this.
I'm not sure if this is in this one (I hope it is), but he did a bit on a dude saying "Hi Hitler" and it was one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time.

Yes I am and I cherish him

Nathan is a national treasure. This episode ruled and was my favourite of this half-season. Bummed about no more reviews but I think this is my first comment on a CBB review so I guess I'm part of the problem. Still the funniest show on TV.

Well I guess I'm the weirdo that likes the TV show more than the podcast. I swear this show was made specifically for me. It's hysterical and Weird Al is a great fit already judging by the premiere.

NOFX!

I have to agree with you. He's a funny guy and this whole "edgy" persona is almost fabricated by those who hate him. Also he seems to have toned down on the atheism stuff significantly these days, instead posting pictures of his cat and rants about how much he hates big game hunters (which I can get behind).

This review is a little off. I watched this out of sheer curiosity and thoroughly enjoyed it. Quite funny and doesn't overstay its welcome. Bana is great in it and so is Gervais who is actually playing a different character than normal for once. Solid B+ from me.

God Damm I love NOFX. Their most recent album (Self Entitled) is super good. The book also rules but is very sad.

You guys are crazy. This episode was hilarious and CLEARLY Mike is not going to be Phil 2 again. I'm pretty sure you'll get your tender dramatic stuff now that Phil and Mike have made up. He won't be an antagonist again. This episode just seemed like an excuse to do a bunch of dumb prank-based sketches and it was

Propagandhi is the best band on the planet and Failed States and Supporting Caste are two of the best albums ever made. It's like Rush, Slayer and NOFX had a beautiful child.

Add PEARS to that list. Holy fuck their new album is a ripper.

Yeah NOFX snuck up on me in the same way. I just realized I loved all their albums and had more fun seeing them than any of the countless shows I've been to so I guess they logically had to be one of my favorites.

Really can't wait to read this. Seems like the perfect mix of comedy and darkness. Also, from what I've heard there's some fascinating stories in NOFX's history so it'll be great to hear more straight from the source.
