I like the version of “Raiders March” that plays in the end credits for this one. I can’t quite put the reason why into words, but it has a sonic quality I really dig. It’s one that was never really repeated in the franchise.

Because individual creative works like these (films, albums, etc) are sold over and over in perpetuity. Friends or the John Wick films continue to generate income for decades. Why would the creators who are integral to the core product not be compensated for those sales, but the studios would?

Do the distributors make money in perpetuity off products someone else created? Yes? Then why shouldn’t the creators?

It was absolutely ridiculous of them to ever think they could’ve kept pumping out Star Wars movies at the same breakneck pace they do for Marvel films. As a result Star Wars wound up falling into the same hole that swallowed up so many would be “Cinematic Universes” in the late 2010s and for largely the same
