Aye, and I certainly stand corrected!
Aye, and I certainly stand corrected!
128i 6MT drop-tops are under $10k all day long. I opted for the tin top because I needed something different (after a few Miatas).
I hate my MIL’s Taurus.
Not a single electrical gremlin on this one but it wouldn’t surprise me if something like this had happened.
You are a national hero, good sir.
Completely clean.
Seriously, it’s easier to just start by pulling the dash. I’ve got those scars...
I immediately swapped my BMWs crappy run-flats for real tires. 1/4 the price and 4x the performance. I keep a plug/patch kit and compressor in the trunk.
Oh crap, that shell is a goner. How much was fixable?
My 2011 BMW (128i/6MT) was purchased used with low miles. Mechanically, it’s in amazing condition. Frame is straight, body is straight, and no sign or reports of accidents anywhere. The undercarriage looks new, suspension bits all look factory, there’s no indication of having ever been in an accident at all.
I put on NASCAR when I need to nap.
Gotta admit, that wasn’t the WORST idea Dutto has ever come up with. It even had rare earth magnets duct-taped to it so it secured to the cage!
But how can you pull it out to lock the car when it’s in the car? That doesn’t make any sense. My car literally refuses to lock with the key inside (or in the trunk), same with my wife’s fobbed car. Plus, cars with fobs usually (always?) have some form of comfort-access touch thingie on the door to lock.
For a key, hell yeah. This was a keyless fob!
Why would you take the fob out of your pocket to begin with? Can’t leave it in the car if it never leaves your pocket.
$50 junkyard bumper, $10 junkyard light (I have a box of them if OP wants one), the foam piece is useless, and a new roof can be had for as little as $350. I see a sub-$1k car that I wanna autocross the crap out of.
This is why V8 Supercars is superior in so, so many ways.
It should’ve never been allowed to receive a swirl mark!
Harry Gant did it with huge success in the 80s/90s.
Oh I agree, that’s why I don’t buy cars with crap interiors, but you really could do worse for $3k.
