He was probably waiting for a clearing to merge over to the left for whatever reason. Doesn’t matter.

It’s not that bad, most bumpers come off pretty easily these days because you have to take them off to service.
My old Firebird was like that. HATED doing plugs on that POS.
Rubber mallet and a closed-end wrench. Done.
He’s talking about the bulbs, not the entire assembly.
Protip: Don’t fill the motive with fluid, just fill the reservoir and use the Motive for the pressure. This way, you don’t have to dump the Motive every time.
Vacuum bleeders take a 2-person 15 minute job and turn it into a 1-person 10 minute job. I LOVE my cheap Harbor Freight vacuum bleeder.
I lived in DC where traffic was like that, so I kept the cars tucked away in the garage and biked to work instead. Worth it. SO worth it.
Crap, so it’s not just my imagination. I still retain too much of my soul to go automatic, so I guess I’ll rule out the Mustang until Ford remembers how to make a proper clutch again.
Why do those exist?
Serious question as I’ve not driven the latest generation Mustang. I sat in a GT and a GT350 at a recent auto show, and was absolutely disgusted by the motion of the clutch. The only way I can describe it is “thunky”. Nothing, a THUNK, and it’s on the floor. Lifting it is gentle for about 5% travel, then THUNK it’s…
Neutral: The only safety feature I utilize is the backup sensors (my 2011 BMW is pre-camera). It helps because the trunk is too high to easily judge how far back I am.
I don’t because my IT blocked it for being “racing/sports” related. Like this, I can return to my regularly scheduled Jaloping.
This is why I walk the paddock at the Rolex 24 with my headphones on, listening to these goodballs yammer on the whole time. Makes the race 100x better.
Dude, I’ll bring the Tim Tams, let’s go!
This is made slightly more sad by the fact that Gavin Free is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to do him harm.
Because it’s cheaper and easier when you need to just huck the tires back onto it to put it back in the trailer.
I spent six full months shopping for a LeMans Blue 128i 6MT w/o nav (I hate infotainment screens). I found lots of 6AT/DCT models, lots of 6MT+Nav models, and many that were simply overpriced as hell.
At this point, why don’t we just convert the damn things to LMP-E cars and ditch the open cockpit shenanigans altogether?
I would argue the other way on this. My 6 year old son WANTS to tell me about his day. He tells me what they learned, how lunch went, who got in trouble (hopefully it wasn’t him that day), etc. Even if I didn’t ask, he’d tell me every detail. I enjoy every minute of it.
