And this is exactly why we need direct-to-customer purchasing. Tesla will let you order whateverthefuckyouwant and you KNOW you’ll be waiting for it, but you CAN. If a dealership ever told me I couldn’t get exactly what I wanted, I simply wouldn’t buy it, plain and simple. Never settle for less.

When I bought my E82 last year, I had already driven the 135i turbo more than once, and yet I purposely sought out the 128i 6MT w/o nav. I don’t like all the bells and whistles, I love the simplicity of the NA motor and the clean nav-free dash, and I honestly wouldn’t have spec’d the car any different if I’d ordered…
