Recently, a friend and I were “riding dirty” with his newly purchased pickup. He bought it in Hell, AKA Virginia, and could not obtain a necessary trip ticket because he wasn’t a VA resident. In all of the other states we passed through, no tag + bill of sale + proof of insurance = okay, move along. Not VA. We knew

That alone would force me to drive to another state every time I needed gas.

I’m almost certain I paid $70 for FFIV (FF2 US) when it launched in ‘92. I was ten, and I’d saved all of my chore/lawnmowing/etc money for MONTHS to buy it.

In all fairness, we ran supermoto “dirt”bikes on the indoor kart track in Sterling, VA for years. It was a BLAST!

It’s easier to apologize than to ask permission.

I can change bulbs on my Tacoma with no tools and about ten seconds of work, so naturally the bulbs are almost 20 years old.

Coworker had one of that generation Frontier, and it was just awful in every way. The V6 had no power at all, drank gas like it had a hole in the tank, and the truck had the same turning radius as an old school bus. It bounced like mad over bumps, it was completely worthless in the snow (the 4WD would just spin two

Won’t. You be. My neighbor.

Welcome to the point. :)

“The Rules” and “The Things Speedycop Builds” are completely separated from one another.

Honestly, it would make for an awesome neighbor. We’ve got someone moving in across the street next week, I hope he installs a lift and pulls up in a Corvette.

I’m not surprised at all. In my E39 BMW, I was tracing the various ducting paths when I realized it had a specific cooling duct for the alternator!

This needs to become an actual petition to the track owners. What a shame. Corner workers are like saints to us track day bozos. We could not and would not have our hobby without their love for the sport.

A garage and a flat driveway were mandatory criteria in our home search. I told my realtor I wouldn’t even look at it if it didn’t have a large 2CG and a driveway with a flat entrance for my minitruck and tendency to drive sports cars.

Horray, I made a relevant comment for once!

BONUS: You can get the rubber refills on the interwebs for about $3-4/blade and it takes maybe a minute or two to replace them yourself. Don’t even need any tools other than to cut the rubber to fit. I’ve been reusing my Bosch Icon housings for a few years now, they work fantastic even with cheap generic aftermarket

Sure, where’d you park your car?

Nah, let the Seafoam do that.

Wouldn’t be that expensive, just pull the injectors and run them through a sonic cleaner with some Seafoam. This is routine maintenance anyway. Costs about $10 for a bottle of Seafoam.

I used to drive around in my track-stripped Miata with a helmet on and the top down. Purely for self-amusement. No police ever cared.
