I was thinking every time someone texts, the airbag goes off.

No B or C pillar in a Miata. Problem already solved.

People seem to forget the easiest and most efficient towing prevention. It’s not “park with the wheels locked” or “leave it in 4 lo”. It’s way, WAY simpler...

No Uphill Esses ALA VIR? Bummer. :)

One of my favorite things to do is to drive off into no-man’s-land, explore some really fun roads, then just hit “Go Home” and be safely navigated back to my garage to wash off the dirt.

I lived that life for nine years, and to hell with living in that area. I’m happily relocated to the beach in FL where there’s no traffic and no freakin’ snow.

And the day before the warrantee expires, sell it!!!

Overnight parts from Japan, yo.

No no, they can’t use a Nokia. They don’t want to break the rotor.

Why would you do it any other way? :)

So much yes.

I’ve stood at that corner station. That crash freaked me right the hell out.

I watched a new Viper go over the wall and into the trees at Summit Point a few years back. Things indeed went horribly, horribly wrong. Driver was okay, his BRAND NEW Viper... not so much.

Are those the same tires I sold it with 3 years ago?!?!

Holy freaking crap, she’s still alive!!! Yeah, email me @ gmail, I gotta hear what she’s been up to.

Thanks, I miss it. Sold it when my son was born, but now that he’s 4 I’ve got a new one. Took him out drifting on an empty dirt road last weekend, he LOVED it.

Doing 120 on the track with a helmet on, inches from other cars, and backing it into a tight turn because your brakes are too hot and you don’t have ABS... really takes ALL of the fun out of speeding on the highway.

Seriously, I drove around in this loud-piped ticket magnet, and never once got pulled over because I didn’t drive it like a jackass (when anyone was looking). Empty parking lots were another story though...

That’s exactly how this one is. I drive it purely with the throttle on a single steering input. I cannot confirm or deny a little oversteer in the wet this morning, however.

Exactly. I love hard acceleration and getting up to highway speed RIGHT FREAKIN’ NOW when there’s a clear on-ramp, but that doesn’t mean I’m out to raise hell, I just love the feeling of G’s.
