My biggest argument against trucks is the lax standards they have to meet.  Any passenger truck should be held to the same standard as all other “cars” have to meet.  Sadly, this will never happen as people react to regulating trucks like someone tried to kidnap their child.

Especially at the rate screens are constantly improving?  All the new Mercs have this 2 screen arrangement and the bezels are HUGE!  Really makes it look like an HDTV from 2005.  And that doesn’t even account for things like pixel density, black levels, visibility angles, etc.

That’s the key. I grew up in mountains and love snow driving. It’s a blast! But when I lived in both Dallas and Vegas, I never drove when the odd winter storm hit. Not because I couldn’t handle it, but the morons that lived there had no idea and drove like normal.
