While in lockdown, I’ve been rewatching the LOTR trilogy. In a series filled with monsters, limb-chopping, torture, cannibalism, fratricide, decapitated heads tossed around, and Christopher Lee calmly instructing Peter Jackson on what kind of sound a man makes when he’s being stabbed, this is still the scariest moment.

Yeah, in my very limited going out the fact that it’s always men that are incapable of wearing a mask or wearing it properly is annoying and unsurprising.

What I find funny is the number of couples that I see where the woman is wearing a mask and the man isn’t.

I think when people were told that wearing a mask doesn’t prevent the wearer from getting COVID, but reduces the amount an infected person will spread the disease, the “well, I don’t have it, so that means I don’t need a mask” morons felt justified in going maskless.

I do not understand why it is so hard for people to just do something for someone else. The tiniest thing. Wearing a mask for a half hour while you’re out to possibly make it so someone else doesn’t get sick.
