That theme is absolutely the high point of that movie. Brosnan had a hot streak of decent-at-worst theme songs, despite his last two movies being hot ass-y garbage.

Not quite in the purview of this article, but I've long argued that Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is actually pretty fucking fun up to the scene where Indy is strapped into a chair, thinking into the Skull via a pair of brain diodes, and it's all downhill from there.

Count me in too. Quantum is one of my three most-underrated Bond films, and if I can be so blunt I think it's the most beautifully filmed one of Craig's run even if I have the hardest goddamn time remembering what it was actually about. And I've watched it a LOT.

I only read the cruise ship essay because of a post-classic-Simpsons episode with a bad title that I needed to understand better. This is about all you ever need to know about my cultural awareness and sophistication, I suppose.

I can abide this!

Guess who just ACCIDENTALLY GOT INTERESTED IN THIS MOVIE?

Holy shit, Shane Black is involved in that?

Shit, I feel like these "bees" or whatever might be onto something here.

Had no idea who this was before reading this, but I'm about a minute into "Fucking With The Altimeter" and I'm already so down for this. I need a copy of this asap. Good fucking article, Leo.

Isn't there also a part where Dean Cain just doesn't give a shit about her diagnosis or something? I feel like he's mostly portrayed as villainous just due to his status as a presumably-godless lawyer.

Fucking love it, dude/dudette, great work. I don't recognize some of the artist names, I'm gonna have to dig deeper on this.

…and then farts at some point, right? Right?!

This same character is also given cancer about midway through the film. Take THAT, dinosaur-hugger!

And do we factor in commandments that someone DVRs and then reads the next day?

Did you actually make this? I've been on a huge vaporwave kick lately (big surprise from the Mac Tonight avatar guy) and this is fucking delightful to me.

I was born just a liiiiiittle too late to see this, but between some super-early childhood memories of my folks watching USA a lot (both my parents were probably down for Night Flight when it aired) and my love of 80s underground/trash culture (which is itself a nostalgic regurgitation of 50s trash culture - you know,

I can get down for that, thank you!

That sounds rough, and yet…oddly appropriate, I guess?

LOOK I'M TRYING OKAY

I respect the shit out of that.
