Does it really matter? He was braking. Yes, he was turning, but that is not the only reason someone would be braking - there could have been a child/animal etc in the road in front that the other driver couldn’t see. He was hit by a vehicle at double the limit, a vehicle that also failed accident avoidance 101 -

Nice gesture, but a bit unnecessary I think. While this behavior was a threat to public safety, letting a sports car rev to the redline a few times and taking it to a speed only 3/4 of top speed isn’t going to cause any lasting damage to the car itself. That drive would have added less wear and tear on the car than a

The 318 is to this day the worst car I’ve ever driven. It’s not just slow, it’s absurdly slow. It’s dangerously slow. It is literally on par with the Cadillac Cimarron as worst execution of an entry level car by a high end marque. Coupled with the most painful exhaust note in the history of combustion, the seats are

Thank you. I’m so fucking sick and tired of hearing about the vaccine “debate” and the mask “debate”. There is no debate. A debate has two valid sides. Calling it a debate is granting the anti-vaxxers a legitimacy that they do not deserve.

If it’s so easy and that’s all it needs, get the battery replaced and sell it for 10k.

Lol, if they were coming back from the shore, their camaros would look like this: (plus I want to start spreading the rumor they crossed state lines so the feds get involved)

Volvo should do itself a favor and call these Volvos. What will be the point of this brand when everything is electric?

My family owned one for about 30 years. Like anything, it’s generally about how you take care of it. It served our family of 4 great, plenty of room and not too bad to tow. Thing must have had hundreds of thousands of miles on it by the time my parents got rid of it a couple years ago, and still looked new. Keep the

The upholstery patterns are just so very 90s that I can’t vote NP no matter how much the asking might be. Only way it could be worse is if it was that teal/purple swooshy cup pattern. You know the one.

Might have been a bit strong on that one. My bad.

But yeah, customers generally think the entire vehicle is made by Ford. (Ford, of course, realizes this).

Upon arriving at Chrysler as a young enginerd, I myself was surprised by just how much of vehicle development is “farmed out.”

The customer doesn’t give a damn which supplier makes it.

We don’t use any automation here! When I’m behind the wheel of an AOTD I actually like digging into the grays and promoting good readers. As a result, a few of the answers here are from formerly gray readers who didn’t have any stars at all.

I will never stop being amazed at the moronic financial decisions people make.

I disagree. It’s a great platform for the more budget minded enthusiast, because it still has vast aftermarket support. Values are going up, so you can get your money back on a weekend toy in a couple years when you want to try something else.

The average of the cars you selected is $15, 232. But, sure, cherry pick the cheapest one for the sake of argument.

I checked Hemmings and Cars Dot Com. Similar Mustangs were listed much higher than this one.

I will always have a soft spot for that wagon. It was maroon with a tan interior, and in Mercury clothing, it looked way nicer than its Taurus sibling (IMHO). It protected my wife and daughter very well in that accident, too. Every minivan I’ve had has driven and handled better, but that’s a different story.

My friend’s family in high school had a Sable wagon (early 90's) and I remember a 4-day multi-state college tour with SIX people in that thing and a clam shell on the roof! Whenever I see one today I think 1) wow, that car is small, and 2) it has aged well. Always a soft spot for the Sable wagon.

Well played, sir.

Very tough to find either a Camero or a Cramro, but Camaro’s are somewhat more common.
