Shit happens sometimes. Live your life until it’s over.

When I started at Ford, these things weren’t uncommon and I was lucky enough to have a few experiences riding in them. I did get a chance to drive one on the track though. One of the scarier things I’ve done. Reason why it was scary was because it was the track manager’s favorite (but it was the one my team needed),

This is so spot-on, I want to jump through my screen just to give you a high five.

Great post and I mean that sincerely.

Stock lights need to be job #1, those aftermarket ones are horrible.

“I can’t let you test drive this Raptor because they’re collectable and the people who buy them don’t want any miles on them”

Something that I have found too common is a salesperson saying that state law require that a “processing fee” be added to each vehicle sale. State law requires only that any such fee, if charged, be included on the paperwork involved in the sale. I have actually had a salesman tell me that the fee is required when a

It has a Genesis decal on the door, so it’s probably a loaner. He might have been trying to figure out one of the unfamiliar controls and not paying attention.

It`s a COVID shield

Frankly, I agree.

Cost. To me the most annoying “feature” of new cars is the cost of them. There are parts of the country where you can buy a house for less than the price of some new cars.

They need to take a page out of the 911 playbook and make the V8 GT350 only. The normal Mustang and Mustang GT get whatever propulsion is compliant but the GT350 is like the 911 GT3 and it gets a NA V8 just like the GT3 gets a NA H6.

This x 10000.  And even if you try to signal them that the lights are off - they still never get it...

Easy.  An instrument cluster that is backlit even when headlights are not on.  Because of that, I often see people driving down the freeway with no headlights or taillights on because they have no clue they are off.

As a Red Seal mechanic, I’ll say: Listen to Jalopnik here. The chances of you damaging you windshield wipers pointing up? Slim to none. The chances of you damaging them from having them frozen to the glass? Probable.

Came here to post this. I’m going with the car people on this one.

Jalopnik just pushed the opposite opinion yesterday. Y’all need to talk: https://jalopnik.com/i-cant-believe-i-have-to-say-this-but-its-totally-fine-1846302894

I gotta say - this misses the point.

With color-matched wheels. It was called the Cayman package. My dad briefly considered buying it for me new, but came to his senses unfortunately. It’s on my list of cars to get one day.

This.
