Unpopular opinion, but if a car isn’t good for someone as it was designed by qualified designers and engineers, then it isn’t the right car for that person.

You’re an extremely smart human being and I like the way you think!

“Journalists” tend to use the figure that better supports their alarmist headlines fully aware that the average reader knows not the difference between average and mean.

At the risk of sounding like an out of touch rich guy, $25k isn’t a lot of money for a vehicle. PT Cruisers could easily go above $20k when they came out 20+ years ago.

Even smaller luxury crossovers are over $60k. It is what it is.

It helps if you already own a trade that’s worth a good dime. In that case, the seemingly unfair upcharge of the new car is offset with the insane price someone will pay for the ride you have.

In some cases the trim levels being built aren’t the highest margin, most deluxe versions. We had to change gears after many, many, many months of waiting for our fully-spec’d vehicle. After a bit of investigation, we found that what we were looking for was rarer than a unicorn. The manufacturer couldn’t build them

This is just my opinion, and not advice in any way, shape or form. If I were car shopping and American vehicles are hitting record prices, I would just buy a foreign car. They’re also easy to work on and they make the right sounds if you get the 5.0. The were a cultural through line in 1980s pop culture. Go for a car that may be worth more next year than it is

At least you know you’re being watched. Easy to miss in the fine print of a rental agreement.

Matthew McConaughey already did this in Interstellar.

Not a jab, but how did the RAV4 Prime make the list, but the NX450h not make the same list?

I’m going to say ND, but not because I don’t think its cool, I say that because:

I’m out. Next.

Ugh EVs and the complainers. Range. Charging times. Uhhhhh.

Ditch the rechargable batteries and go with a proven winner.

Toyota 22R

They’ve never discovered a weapon, or identified and stopped someone on a no fly list from gaining access to a secure area?

I’m trying to understand your definition of none.

So sorry you decided to let this go. I’m sure it is hard.

Despite the flaws of this one, perhaps you can treat yourself to a well-preserved functional example in the future. I’ve let projects go, only to find myself in a better place in the future to buy something better. While I truly enjoy working on cars and

So, no benefit? None?

Some of these vans look like the progeny of relatives who got a little too friendly.
