I’m being honest here, I love ugly, pointless cars. The Murano Convertible is one that I’d have for the emotions it elicits at every stop light. You either get people laughing, or throwing up in their mouths. Either way, that’s a sign of art.

Is that story true? Even if it were not, I’ve heard similar stories about unpopular products that were built under similar circumstances.

The Saturn Astra, in my opinion was the best Saturn, perhaps better than the Sky. Too little, too late.

SAAB’s demise forced me to abandon my career plan of architecture. I also have lost my affinity for turtlenecks and Euro-styled spectacles.

If the legacy brands are precluded from selling DTC, perhaps we need more Teslas and the like who aren’t bound to most dealer franchise laws.

Maybe you can stop giving people like this any mention? Even if you’re writing about him, and similar people for the right reasons, you’re still building their brand. Think about that. You may be doing more harm than good in giving this type of person the amount of consideration required to write this blog post.

I like to have my bags nearby, but if I know I’m in a later boarding group, I’m not going to take my chance waiting to see if there’s a space for my bag if my seat is near the back. I’ll snag the first available spot and grab it on the way out. I travel too much to not avoid potential issues. This is a matter of

We have a PHEV and sadly will be replacing it with a standard EV. I’m all about the EV revolution, but they don’t support all use cases yet. Hybrids are a practical solution for economy and reliability, even if they’re about as exciting as a slice of white sandwich bread.

My perspective on whether or not their markup is worth it, is that it depends. However, my “it depends” factor now considers the state of affairs in the absolutely bonkers car market.

I’m going to go NP on this one. Considering the watchouts made by Skipp, there may be deal breakers, or extra negotiation to be had. I think the key here is that for most people, these are not in the hot zone. They’re not sensible or practical as dailies. They’re not valuable enough on the secondary/collector market

Precisely this. The great thing about most Hondas is that outside of routine maintenance, it will last through many Presidential elections. Sure, things may break, but generally the car will get you home.

This makes sense. We test drove the first US gen a few years back. To me, it just felt like a tiny little compromise of a vehicle. However, sometimes a tiny little compromise of a vehicle is exactly what you need, even if it isn’t what you want.

I thought the major drawback was the price. In the mid $20ks in high

You can sum up most of the new car market with the following statement, “It’s fine.”

Are these laws actually about safety? I’m not saying that you have to like it.

Sorry that you’re confused. Not picking a fight here.

What do you know about most of the people who are into this trend?

Sure, build a law that’s inclusive of all modifications of this situation where a car is facing the sky. Don’t target a group.

See, this is where there’s a problem. If the real beef are improperly aligned headlights and a reduced field of view, then cherrypicking the Carolina squatters is a discriminatory practice.

First casino boat on Lake Travis? I can’t see it going very far in that lake.

Perhaps just like horse-drawn carriages fell out of favor when cars came about, the end of the human piloted motorcar as a form of primary transportation is near?
