I hear what you’re saying. I’ve not met anyone who has actually paid a markup. Are dealers really getting those markups on new cars?

Who are the people paying these markups? I would like to meet them.

What a poopshow this whole car market has become.”

I love these cars more each time I see them. Perfect.

I have no problem with either of these trucks, but about the only thing they have in common is the bed on the back. Different trucks, from different eras, for different use cases.

You know, this response is 100% correct. The tradeoffs you suggest are logical and exactly why this makes sense. I would also say that the Infinitis since 2007 or so, have been stunning. Yes tradeoffs are quality and reliability, resale value and perception.

Or St. Petersburg.

Keen idea.

Yeah, that could be a good look.

That Lexus face is polarizing. It definitely looks better on some models and trim levels than others.

I can appreciate that perspective. Most average Lexus products are not built for excitement. I wouldn’t say that they’re indicative of a sad life, just perhaps not the most exciting one.

Totally understandable. Design is a powerful factor.

Oh yay, the next PT Cruiser.

Let me bring this back around. I find the Q60 to be a stunning car. I think it is a best-in-class design. However, design is subjective. I always thought the running gear was tops.

I get it. I’m not dogging you, manuals have their place. On paper that 5% difference seems interesting, but I’d guess that apples to apples, most people would either not see that gain based on revving out gears, or not optimizing their gear selection.

Texas and Florida are very close to passing laws banning the use of homophones.

Good points. For me, some cars feel neutered with an automatic, despite looking better on paper. A Mustang GT with an automatic feels like a compromise.

I can think of one, quality. Amirite?

The G37 coupe, or whatever silly name it has now is a stunning car. However, everyone knows you’re driving an Infiniti because you couldn’t swing the Lexus.

He probably isn’t doing himself any favors by flapping his gums about it, but I think it would’ve been reasonable for him to assume that the gun wasn’t loaded with live ammo. Who would give a prop gun to an actor with live ammo in it?
