...No. If Philip Roth was allowed to write the same fucking story over and over, about boring, ruthless men on navel-gazing quests for sexual fulfillment — and win prizes for it — and be called one of the greatest writers of his generation — I think we as a culture can afford Beyoncé space to take what is personal to h

My local (Milwaukee) paper ran a section on local musicians impressions of meeting Prince. My favorite was this anecdote:

I guess it’s only a matter of time before an actual one in a million case comes up...

If Kevin Smith was here he’d probably call you a dick.

I’ve never heard anyone who met him call Prince an asshole.

It would be like when R. Kelly dies and all we’ll remember is Piss on You.

This is just...so dumb.

GoT had no more “boobs and blood” than a lot of premium HBO TV, from Deadwood to Rome.

GOT has always got by on the stellar acting from its core cast and a story that keeps people tuning in next week to see what happens to people they’re invested in.

The only people who care about the boobs are

there are no happy endings in life, why would a story that is meant to explore the depths of the human existance be any different?

This is what has happened in the books as well- but I think there’s a wider purpose. Martin has said that he always intended to reunite characters after drawing them apart to allow them to grow individually.

The problem is that it's been proven that dressing modestly DOESN'T keep women and girls (or anyone else) safe from rapists, and that it sends boys, men, and abusers the wrong message when they constantly hear that women and girls need to avoid dressing a certain way in order for them not to rape.
