The vehicle swapping thing sounds exactly like how The Crew handles it, although it probably makes more sense with Lego.

I really enjoyed this fight. I’d been playing the whole game on Padawan anyway and it wasn’t as difficult on that setting as I expected, or as some other fights were (like a certain froggy rift, or double rancors). It was also a lot better use of Vader than how they handled his appearance in the first game.
Yeah, it’s obnoxious. There are few things more effective at making me blacklist something like shoving it in my face constantly when I haven’t asked for it. There really is such thing as bad publicity, and this is one of them.
Ignoring the evidence because you like a Youtube personality isn’t the same as it not existing.
This is a weird defence. As a former game programmer, it definitely is due to poor programming or poor optimisation if a single-platform game can’t maintain stable performance on the only platform it’s released on. If you want to make a more demanding game, you either make it for a platform that can handle it or you…
Appreciate the weirdly angry grey responses proving the “audience who don’t know better” remark. “End justifies the means” consequentialism doesn’t work in the real world, the how and why matter just as much as the result.
Hey, why don’t you interview one of the people who’s surgery he paid for and see how they feel about him?
Because the video revenue brings in more than tenfold the amount he spends on the act. The things he does aren’t altruism, they’re just his cost of doing business with a >90% profit margin. He commercialises the superficial appearance of philanthropy and sells it to an audience who don’t know better for obscene profit.
Oversimplifying someone’s experience with the complex and worsening problem of housing affordability with how “sure” you are that he’d be better off if he’d just saved some money maybe isn’t the hill you want to die on today.
I did like that they have a slightly different travel animation when you go between places in the same system, since it wouldn’t make sense to use hyperspace there. It would have been easy to just reuse the same hyperspace loading sequence, so the small change is welcome.
I had a longer response in mind but I don’t think it matters enough to me to debate. I will say that people working for their money and wanting an entertainment product to entertain wasn’t in question, and I didn’t suggest a video game can’t affect people - the implication was one of proportionality.
Of course, and it’s not every person either obviously. But there does seem to be a growing population of people who will complain about anything - for example, whenever I click through an announcement (for pretty much any game) in the What’s New area in the Steam library, there’s always someone bitching that the new…
Which raises the question, if things are mostly fine but people still lose their shit anyway, what caused that? Do people have overinflated expectations that reality could never live up to? Have people forgotten how to handle mild disappointment in a reasonable way? I certainly think those are both true in individual…
Australian mullets died in the 80s, the only people who wore them after that are bogans, who pretty much are Australia’s rednecks/chavs.
Whatever code you’ve set up to dump this article under every other one completely messes with the ability to refresh the comments section. Every time I’ve tried to do it on another article today it’s brought me here instead.
No, I’m comparing a traditional threaded forum with a Discord threaded forum, which can also be browsed and searched (just not through Google).
Still not supported, as far as I can tell. There’s a feedback item for it but it’s only got 500 votes, while the top ones are in the tens of thousands. I have no idea why so few people want better search, but it seems unlikely to be addressed as long as it sits so low on the list.
Nor can it ever be.
I use it all the time, but if you really mean to never use it then just turn it off. It’s under Settings > In-Game > Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game.
