Boosting your sense of self-worth isn’t the customer’s responsibility.

Neither of them have “statutes”, you fundamentally don’t understand the nature of pre-modern law. Norse law wasn’t even generally written down. Early Irish law was, but it’s incredibly complex and far beyond your ability to parse when you know nothing about the society in question.

I’m not, it’s a problem, but the evidence it existed in the past is, as far as I know, thin. I’m sure it did happen in the past, there will always be abusive men, but on the level of the modern societies? No. The status of women fundamentally took a nosedive in the early modern period, removing legal rights they’d

“Widely used and accepted” needs some citation behind it. Raping a slave was legal in Rome, for example, but only because slaves had no legal personhood. I’m not denying such things took place. I’m firmly denying it was normative. You’re talking largely about the modern era, which has a firmly different set of ideas

If you’re willing and able to other 51% of the human population, everything after comes real easy.

Off the top of my head? In both Norse law and Early Irish law. Early Irish law includes having sex with a drunk woman as rape, though there’s some exceptions that are complex and related to status that I’d need a small paper to explain.

You really can’t dis-aggregate misogyny from racism and other bigotries. They go hand-in-hand the vast majority of the time.

I got a stud finder (which makes me laugh hysterically, and I run it on my husband and beep real loud and laugh until I fart), and it came with anchors so I should be set!

We need to start describing sexual predators as preying on their fellow ‘humans.’ I feel that as soon as we label the victims as ‘female’ or ‘women’ it gives people an out... well of course he’s going to go after adult females... that’s what normal, healthy men do.

No. This is the wrong take. Whether it is a “real” allergy or not is not up for you to decide. That’s a societal issue that runs deep that people think they know what is good for you. THAT is bullshit.

As a guy who wholeheartedly loves med-rare beef and other meats of all shapes and forms, I will say I’ll definitely be buying this in stores after trying it in a local restaurant earlier this year. You can barely tell a difference. It’s more a novelty for me, but it’s less cholesterol and sad cow friends.

My issue with your argument is that the deception is right out in the open. She’s using very thick very intense filters to hide her face in those photos. Anyone who glances at them knows that that’s not what she looks like. To use your example, it’s a bit like if someone posted a photo of the 1984 oldmobile, covered,

Precisely this! People are saying that the viewers were misled but I’d be willing to bet that she was tossing out a number that she doubted would be met so that she could make some money.

Presumably, he means a premium, but that’s not true, either. Sanders’ plan has no premiums.

That’s a much better “post jury duty” experience than I had... I ran into the Plaintiff at a local market. During the trial, in which she was suing the county for basically a slip and fall, I had the pleasure of sitting right across the aisle from her. Which in this courtroom was about 3 arm lengths...There were

Just wait till these people find out their favorite porn actresses are not actually “18 year old school girls”

Sorry, rant ahead.

Despite the shenanigans, a middle-aged woman has become accepted and celebrated in a medium that tends to be indifferent, if not downright hostile to those that are not young and beautiful. Yes, I see that as a positive thing.

Right, and I have never seen the point in acquiring tastes - I don’t see any reason why I should, as the article says, “go through the ‘work’ of learning to enjoy something like beer or wine.” I can drink the thing I like, or drink the thing I don’t like so I can...maybe like it in the future?  Doesn’t add up for me.

Have a White Claw and calm down there buddy, it’s a pretty widely-held opinion that beer and wine (and spirits) are indeed acquired tastes. Certainly matches up with my own experience anyway.
