$75k seems.....optimistic....stock 350 SBC with probably 250 HP. Didn’t even spring for block hugger headers. The square tubing and right angles with minimal triangulation on the chassis does not inspire much confidence in strength. Neither does the sketchy pedal situation. Seems like the car was made with

I don’t know what to say, did not feel like it was that quick. Maybe the one I drove was missing a hundred or so ponies.

Some call it plain, others call it stealthy.

Because almost everyone that went to go buy one, saw and drove the GTI and knew it was the better option.

Needless to say you’ve never been in one.

Odd, because that 4R70W backed up the 4V 4.6 in the Mark VIII for a long time before being dropped in the Marauder.

Aside from the gas mileage, which was mediocre at best, it was an absolutely amazing trip vehicle.

It was the Taurus/Explorer chassis. The EcoBoost version was the SHO and Explorer Sport. Ran a bit slower than the SHO because of obvious additional mass

Make sure to go ‘13+, stronger PTU’s and bigger brakes.

I ran a 14.1@100mph in my bone stock ‘11 EcoBoost. It was WAY quicker than most people assumed. I could’ve thrown a tune at it, but I assume that would’ve hastened my PTU’s failure

I had an Expedition before my Flex, and honestly, it gave up some load height, but just about the same width and depth. It was amazingly cavernous.

It’s surprisingly slow for 350HP and 3000 odd pounds. To say I was underwhelmed by the performance, would be an understatement.

The Camaro out-handles a lot of cars WAY more expensive. Hell, even the Mustang will too. The 1LE, Z28, ZL1, GT350, and GT500 hit well above their price points.

I mean, the EPA rated the Journey at 16 city/24 hwy/19 comb (3.6 AWD). I’m assuming you do quite a bit of highway travel.

Only reason I am in an Escape is because I needed something easy to get in and out of and had supportive seats with good lumbar and the Escape has good seats (and Ford in general). My wife has a ‘19 CX-5, and the seats are just not up to it. The Escape is a stop gap, but I could also get A TON more features than any

Interesting point about DI, I never really thought of that as influencing sound. Seems like compression ratios have been getting higher and higher too, and obviously the head and combustion chamber designs go along with that.

Twitter interface: 4 out of 5 handcuffs; one off because it seems like someone’s been reading my DM’s.

To me, the Chrysler NA 2.4 (pre-Tigershark). It had poor economy, was gutless, ate through ignition system parts, was rough, and noisy. Sounds like the Tigershark isn’t much better though. For a daily driver, it was a completely garbage.

It’s honestly the only thing I can assume, at this point. All sound like trash
