You know, I’m starting to think that Elon Musk might be kind of a bad person.

This is probably the same person who “causes delays” during my shopping experience when they go to pay for something using Apple Pay or Samsung Wallet or whatever (and can’t get it to work or don’t have it set up properly).

Thanks to some fuck who tried cheating the government by getting reimbursed for flights he booked (but never mentioned that he cancelled), I have to provide a copy of the boarding pass with every travel claim. So I want my damn paper tikets.

I am in my 50s and proud real gen x and coworkers in their 20s come to me for tech advice regularly. I use a printed at home boarding pass. faster and my phone stays in my pocket.

My kids are 3 and 5, it isn’t their job at those ages to have that kind of responsibility and accountability. Their job is to be a kid and have fun, especially on their first trip to an airport.

It’s seems like people fumbling around with their phones take the longest. Also, you can take your paper pass with you through your security scan. You can’t take your phone, it has to go through X-ray separate. 

Co-sign.  Many travelers are the equivalent of the person at the grocery store who waits until everything is scanned to start looking for their checkbook.

I’m usually typing text in an editor that lets me go to the end of a sentence with a keystroke, where the two spaces distinguish that point from abbreviations and such. Also, decades of habit. Why should I change? (And why should anyone care if I change?)

I absolutely use paper when I have my kids. When its just me, whatever doesnt take too much... but trying to juggle two under 10's and myself and my wife.. fuck you I am using paper so I dont have to struggle filling through the boarding passes on my phone, not to mention its not like they dont just do the SAME thing…

He should be charged with attempted murder.
