I know it’s hard to fathom but yeah. At least in the US, the market last year was over 360,000 units. This year it would take an absolute miracle for the market to get to 340,000 units. Part of this is due to the “blow out” Tesla Q3 and Q4 in 2018 but the overall market will shrink in units and it will shrink even

It was that simple at PayPal. Fire Musk. Business became a success.

That “miracle quarter” has been deeply dissected in the financial community.

Yeah. The automotive environments are just brutal. Commercial grade components never hold up

Mostly selling green credits, not cars.

Difference being that the Chinese and US markets for EVs are now shrinking as the Early Adopter cycle has run its course.

They aren't. Google Tesla yellow goo

Interstate commerce clause of the US Constitution.

Courts will decide it but generally the Supremes have sided with "uniform standards" across all 50.

Too bad we have something called the Constitution...  which is there to protect us from the excesses of the large state's whims.

Maybe... But....For anyone who’s followed this area of law... there is a certain irony that (for much the same reason) Utah can’t tax for the pollution from California’s power plants scattered all over the West.
