You really have to be delusional to think that a person has to be nice to win a competition whose qualifiers for success form an anagram of the word cunt.

So it’s pretty clear that production was setting Silky up for a big lip sync win here, as I can’t think of a way Nina could have possibly been successful to that song. And boy howdy, did THAT backfire. In retrospect, that does put Silky’s very strange arc from hero to villain to collapsing star into perspective. She

The only reason Silky is still on the show is for the drama. That lipsync was a fucking mess. Nina clearly didn’t know how to perform that song and was probably self conscious about it but she at least put forth the effort. WTF was Silky doing? What Nina lacks in makeup and fashion she more than makes up for in her

Ok, I don’t understand one thing: this show has been great as a platform for popularity of certain queens, so they get their artistic lives sorted out after the - huge - investment done here.

Bring back the bossy rossy show!

Giving the win to Brooke was the most boring outcome. Much like Brooke winning the season would be the most boring outcome.

The ethos of the show “let the best drag queen win” no longer applies. It was most visible on All-Stars, with grand juries and double crownings, and now it’s bleeding through (or the producers’ manipulation is just more obvious) into the normal show.

I almost thought we were going to have a double elimination with that lip sync. I felt for Nina because I don’t think that’s the sort of performing she does. That’s part of the game, of course, but like give the girl a showtune and I bet it would be rad.

I really wish Ru had put Yvie in the bottom instead of Nina, because Yvie would have slayed that lipsync and sent Silky packing. I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: Silky’s real problem is basically that she’s incapable of processing that anybody could ever see her as anything less than the greatest queen in

I just want Silky to GOOOOOO.

For me it’s that despite knowing it’s a reality show, I totally tune out whenever they clearly manufacture drama out of thin air. The whole wig thing was stupid the first time it came up and all it did tonight was snowball into another Yvie vs Silky shouting match. By that point I couldn’t care less who was initially

If Silky were half as talented as she was loud, she’d still be Derrick Berry.

I’ve become a big Nina fan (and Silky has been “meh” at best despite her being my preseason fave), but to be fair, Ru did show Nina a bit of favoritism week one...unless that was just production talking in her ear. It’s not an unpopular opinion to say Silky’s big personality has helped justify production keeping her

M’kay...

Yeah, the lipsync was meh—Ive seen Nina with TONS more energy— but I thought Silky should have gone home overall. I just don’t think that Ru likes Nina much. Production appears to like her better than they like Silky, though.

The Reverend Dr. Silky Nutmeg Ganache: Put her (Yvie) in a lip-sync against me and I’ll send her home.

This just proves there are queens to talk the talk (aka Silky) about lip syncing for their lives, and those like Brooke and Yvie who walk the fucking walk... as we saw with Sorry, not Sorry.

The narrative definitely fit this being Vanjie’s week to win so it being Brook Lynn was a real surprise

Is anyone else desperately, passionately bored? I’m sorry the season started so strong, and then just fizzled. What are we thinking? Producers? Casting? What happened?

That lip syncs was...YIKES. TLC done dirty.
