I said the same thing upthread. I even had "king shit" in my original draft!

A subtle bit I love in Charlie Brooker's Dead Set is how the zombies go for the throat and lose interest in the body after it stops moving. The result is a quick kill that leaves most of the body intact - an optimal tactic for an organism seeking to "spread the love".

Ben's original plan was even better; exploit the versatility and resources of the upper floors and reserve the basement as a fallback. But Cooper ruined all that by forcing everyone to choose one or the other - and insisting that he would be in control of anyone who went into the cellar.

Too bad it didn't take.

May I introduce you to Hillbillies in a Haunted House?

"Play us a sloooowwwww song!"

I loved Exit 57, but my favorite short-lived Comedy Central sketch show was The Vacant Lot. It would regularly veer hard into straight-up horror, making it a maple-flavored predecessor to The League of Gentlemen.

It's gotta be chancy firing a voice artist over the phone. You run the risk of them begging for their job in character, and who can live with themselves after reducing Kermit to tears?

Bambi: The Ted Nugent Cut

Have you ever seen those renderings of what he would look like in real life? Shit be terrifying even to me, and Zoidberg is my totem animal.

So did I, when I saw the smaller version on the main page. Then I read the review and figured it was highly unlikely.

I dunno. Oprah is super-rich but super-annoying. Kaling is more my physical type, but super-annoying. And Reece Witherspoon is covered in Reese Witherspoon.
