Actually there have been several recent articles connecting Christianity with Crossfit. (no pun intended.)

How do you know they aren't converting? Have you asked each and every person at the studio? I was reading a blog last month called White Hindu. It was by this woman who converted to Hinduism and the interaction between her race/culture and new religion. Apparently it is more common than previously thought.

What is it with you people and jokes? Don't they cover them at Politically Correct University?

Denim as a fabric existed prior but I believe jeans as they exist today were codified by Levi Strauss company when they were making jeans for the workers on the railroad in California.

True. I don't think the Aztec designs are necessarily offensive, though. They don't depict (that I know of) objects considered sacred or set apart.

That's a good point. I agree with you about that last point. I guess I tend to react skeptically to articles like this because some people are so extreme about rejecting any sort of appropriation and so quick to interpret negative intent where none may actually exist. But obviously I don't want to actually offend

I think you just don't understand sarcasm.

Um... I was making a joke.

Neither do I, especially the T-shirt. It's just a drawing, not even an actual headdress.

Exactly. I guess we have to stop wearing jeans because we aren't railroad workers in the 19th century.

But people can convert to Hinduism. Then it would actually be a part of their culture. You can be white and still be Hindu; they aren't mutually exclusive.

Don't forget the Aztec patterns. More designers are using them now because Aztecs aren't around to complain.

I agree with you. In a broad sense, everything is an appropriation from some other culture. Where do you draw the line?

Nah, they are fine with offending Catholics.

I don't see why anyone would want to wear a pope hat.

I thought it actually said that.

Also, puppy is so cute!

I'm not sure Catholicism can take it. I guess it depends what you look like.

Speak for some other group of Christians, please. I don't like cheap manufactured things. And actually some people are offended by things like rosaries worn as tacky necklaces.

Also that Tiger is white. Tigers of Color are under erasure in this image.
