I seriously doubt this is about the toxic part of Rick and Morty’s fanbase. This is all about CN not wanting to spend the money that Harmon and Roiland believe they are owed to create another season.

But movies don’t need to explain the monsters. I’m fine with that. I actually prefer it in most cases for this very reason BUT if you are gonna explain it you better have a smarter reason than “multiple universes, stuff goes crazy, whatever”

I like it too. It was a welcome surprise and fun addition to the Cloverfield universe. It was not perfect but it was fun. I loved all the tie in stuff even though it was a bit forced at times. It is an enjoyable movie.

I figured it explained the 10 Cloverfield Lane situation but not the original Cloverfield.
