I just love it when legendary missing/unseen media gets found. Like when they finally released the "Rude Removal" episode of Dexter's Laboratory, or when that old Sesame Street animation about Crack Master finally turned up.

Woman's Got to Have It remains my favorite of theirs. And I have a big, huge soft spot for Hold On it Hurts too.

They're a very odd group, to be sure. Their earliest work is more informed by straight-up Brit-punk, with a heavy dose of clever-pop along with it. Woman's Gotta Have It is all over the map in really pleasant and surprising ways. From there their stuff seems more weed-drenched and hazy, but still clever and poppish,

Fatboy Slim was more responsible for that other-tempo'd version than Cornershop was.

Aside from the near-universal disdain of the site design, we really don't have any evidence of what may or may not have been at the core of the issues that doomed the site. For all we know, Pitchfork tried like hell to right the ship.
