AND IN SO DOING, YOU ARE GOING TO SAVE US ALL.

I agree!

Ach, I still haven't seen the Christmas special. Not sure why, it's just sitting there on Netflix. Waiting for me.

It's hard to figure out what to add to that list, since I've never connected with animated shows like I do in these past few years. I've always been a fan, but even The Simpsons at its strongest was not part of my pulse like these shows are.

I've always had a soft spot for genuine, compelling portrayals of how young folks experience romance. (Flame Princess is one of my favorite characters from AT, and "Too Young" will always be part of my top AT episodes.)

I have to give Bojack Horseman credit. It took a while, but it eventually managed to get me invested by the season's end.

I'm right there with you, LibraryLass. Which is something I never thought I'd hear myself say. (Feel myself type.)

Holy hell, that's right. Man, Western animation is really having itself one hell of a renaissance right now.

Just think of the potential comebacks that might have been, had Pearl's line been "Forget Greg! Let's explore the Universe together!"

For a long time I thought the mood and message of Winter Forecast, as well as how it fleshed out the nature of Steven and Connie's budding relationship, would never be topped by this show. I couldn't have known it at the time, but I sorely underestimated the talents of this Crewniverse.

1) Alone Together
2) We Need to Talk
3) Winter Forecast
4) Rose's Scabbard
5) The Return/Jailbreak

I've heard SU is gone until late July. But my source for that is /co/ so take that with as many grains of salt as you feel necessary.

I know the Crewniverse doesn't plan/schedule these Steven Bombs, but they've really been structured well. Bursting out of the gate on Monday, peaking on Thursday, but giving us a real meaty chunk of unanswered questions on Friday to keep us eager for our next fix. Well done, CN scheduling (or if it's just dumb luck on

What impressed me most about this episode is how it took on (and handled, expertly) an entirely new tone for the show. Menace, body-horror, the creepy kind of fear that comes from a deepening plot not just to retake the planet Earth, but to change the nature of Gem Fusion and all it means/does. Given the fact that

I feel no shame in admitting I've heard/watched "Do it for Him" approximately 100 times since Monday.

I'm sure he'll have some good pharmaceutical assistance during the healing process. I mean…Ritalin is easy. Ritalin is good.

Is that the online video service created by Ol' Dirty Bastard?

You're a good man, Eric, and I love the perspective you bring to these reviews. Really stokes the communal discovery vibe down here among the commentariat.

You know what always helps with nighttime insomnia for me? Reading a book.

Yeah seriously, if you didn't get a little misty, you have bigger problems than illiteracy.
