It doesn’t even have to be honorable mention. Hong Kong has a fantastic mass transit system network. Subway goes all over the place. Trams in the busiest parts of the island, buses to more remote areas. Ferry between the island and the mainland, ferries to other islands. Railway to China. Hydrofoil to Macau.

I think it’s about someone like Bezos spending billions of dollars to fund Blue Origin, which is very cool because it can send people on flights to space.

One thing to always keep in mind when there are reports of mass idiocy is that it’s not idiocy at a mass scale.

With you on never buying a Tesla. For this and other reasons.

I don't even understand what his complaint was.

Wth a discount now, and hopefully a net extension to the warranty, this would be appealing to me in the current climate.

I agree with your gut feeling, especially since the trajectory has been downward and the Zeitgeist is about shedding precautions.

Hopefully these unvaccinated returning people see how their vaccinated co-workers are all still alive, not suffering from side effects, not being radio controlled by Bill Gates, and not magnetized.

Thank you for the clarification.

Not going to defend car dealers but the argument has it’s limits.

I didn’t really think about how the VW is just about a cabover and maybe has more interior space packed in. Cocky young guy in his 20's wanting a car that seems impressive for his age, living in an area where people drive everywhere, so he’s driving out to the clubs, and back home afterward. And then cocky, young male stereotypes in terms of driving habits means he’s more likely to get

Yeah, it’s their Walkmen players that had me thinking about Sony recently, too. Their super-high-end audiophile models. Interesting that such a huge company makes such niche products.

When looking back to how they had concept stores selling a really broad and diverse line of home electronics, it’s strange to think about how the only Sony thing I own is a camera.

Yeah, I have a personal fixation on Apple pushing users to rely on iCloud and to pay for it, so that was what came to my mind immediately.

Read this unthinkingly and for about 4 seconds thought that the Putin had ordered troop withdrawals from Ukraine and I was somehow hearing about it for the first time on Jalopnik, of all places.

Well, to be totally realistic, a lot of companies have ended up emulating Apple as Apple has redefined the paradigm of what is acceptable and expected.
