I had one exactly like this, same color and model year. I ended up selling it and buying a Civic Type R. On paper it has the right stats, but behind the wheel it feels as sleepy as it looks. A great cruiser no doubt, incredibly comfortable, can park it anywhere and not worry about it, but felt it lacked excitement

What happens when the ground moves? Good luck.

Newsflash - used cars exist. A used car manufactured in the past 10 years likely has better fuel economy than those built in the early 2000s.

How many cars on the road are new?

You do know the 3/Y performance exists, right?

Or you can buy the 60k RAV4 (NX450H) and probably still feel like you made the wrong choice.

Uh, yeah you COULD, but uh why would you? It’s not like you can sell the plane ticket or uhaul after you’re done, or write an interesting story about flying on a plane and renting a uhaul, sooooo...

Perhaps I am prejudiced, or I’m just picky. Either way; I came to the opinion that I don’t like that treatment. There’s little to fault for Cadillac with their current sedan design language - they’ve been on a hot streak for a while. You’re also correct about performance, today the gap is miniscule among like for like

I have serious doubts that anything coming out of Hyundai will ever be as exciting or as emotional as a civic Si.

Well, I think the Accord (See 2018 Accord vs 2019 CT5 for reference) incorporated this design language first, specifically the C-Pillar. And better executed from my perspective - Caddy should have NEVER made the rear side windows fakies, at least Honda made actual windows. SHAME SHAME SHAME

I’m not really sure why you’re referencing an old middling turbo 4, which produced far less power in stock guise, as the benchmark. The Mercedes M139 or M133 would perhaps would demonstrate the lack of surprise that a 290hp turbo 4 produces. Or perhaps the decades old EJ25.. or the B234R from 1980's SAABs that had

Thanks Bradley, came here for this.

Why this vehicle gets it and not the GT will forever be a mystery to me.

If the turbo Hondas are any indication of HP hopefully it will be closer to 355 WHP.

You could get a similarly equipped/used Macan S for about half that. So there’s that side of the coin.

Hm.. I don’t think that was the link I meant to post. That one is a Type S but that is an auto.. I found a bunch under 150k miles for less than 8k. They are out there. I’m not going to do your looking for you. The fact remains, 14k is too much. Lots of better options out there. This is coming from an owner of several

Do you need some help finding google? www.google.com

    Here’s one for 3900

There are plenty.. plenty of Type-S TL’s out there

Inline pro (a one-time reputable Honda tuner) built one of these back in the early aughts, attached a snow plow, and it ran 12's (I think?) in the quarter mile. I would definitely have rocked that thing, but this? I dunno man. Looks like somebody’s poorly assembled college project. I’d wager it’s worth...maybe half of
