Considering the number of people I’ve seen making this general comment on the internet today it’s clearly not a niche concern so I have to assume one of the many people involved in the process of booking him thought of it and got it cleared by a doctor, hopefully Bob’s actual doctor.

Most of google is telling me there’s no issue eating spicy foods after a heart attack (most of the foods I see as should-avoids relate to cholesterol). Even some studies that infer spicy diets *could* be good for you.
