Best article I’ve read from you in a long time Raph, great work sir. Question - some of my buddies who track cars a lot, find that once you have the handling dialed in you can then focus on the power, do you feel this car needs any more power? Not torque, not a boost spike to blow the car out of the apex, just more…
And you don’t have to swallow that heroin, darrrrrrrlin.
Still needs to have a train involved, I think.
“Drivers HATE him! Watch this Stanford study on vehicle dynamics THROUGH THE OUTBACK!”
It sounds horrible stock, one of my friends has one that’s been “opened up” a bit, sounds incredible. Still a v6, still has turbos, only so much you can do there to make it sound better. Big turbos with a 4” exhaust and your problem is pretty much solved.
What is this I don’t even.
~3s: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/996-tur… he goes by Yumaverick on there.
Two different cars all together. Analog vs Digital.
There's more to the GTR than just 0-60 performance, I've driven them, the M5, the new (and old) MB's making similar performance claims. That's like saying don't buy a used GTR, buy a new Hellcat, because it's more comfortable driving it all the time. I love the Hellcat but considering you can get a pretty clean used…
There are aftermarket companies for the GTR that have warranties that take over where the OEM Nissan warranty does not. AMS is not one of them because they build race cars - no warranties there. I think Hennessey (LOL) and Switzer have warranties that cover their builds but I'd have to do some research on that to be…
Looks like the Switzer boys better up their game!
This^^
Who doesn't love them? AMIRITE!?
The one where you can control how quickly and which direction the interior spins.
Raph, if this is all it takes to get onto Jalopnik, I'll BRB doing a burnout in my Festiva, on ice.
Who gives a turkey?
