I hear you. My webcam setup now includes a Sony mirrorless and 30mm lens (plus lighting, mic, noise dampening foam...) so I can have amazing bokeh in Zoom calls. I was actually on a call with someone from Zoom, and they were blown away with how good my video looked.  Yeah, that’s what a thousand or so dollars can do.
