Easy for someone without restrictions on what they drink to judge. Choices are basically limited to water, black coffee, and diet soda.  Maybe water and black coffee are enough for you, but for many people that’s rather dreary. 

I just transfer the amount I’m going to need to pay off the credit card, rent, etc, into the account monthly before I pay the bills.  My bank doesn’t penalize a low balance, and it means I don’t have money in the least interest earning place for long.

As a type 1 diabetic, I am very happy to have diet soda in the world.  Without it, my drink choices are extremely limited.
