They just booted Colin Trevorrow from Episode 9. We need a dance party thread.

Still one of the greatest movie themes of all time, though. (I’d put it in the top 5, personally.)
As someone who voted for Hill-dog (with no reservations) even though I liked Bernie better, I would appreciate it if Hillary would stop talking for a while. She’s run for president twice: the first time she lost to a semi-unknown African-American (gasp!) who basically had almost the same name as two terrorists…
You know, I voted for Bernie in the primary because I did want to disrupt the system; we live in a system that needs to be disrupted, and hopefully be put back on course. But Donald Trump is not the sort of person you want to disrupt a system.
Let’s say half of that 25% actually followed through and voted for McCain. That’s still on par with the Bernie supporters flipping to Trump. Obviously, that didn’t matter in 2008, and it shouldn’t have mattered last year. The margins shouldn’t have been that thin against a game show host who wasn’t even trying to win.
25% of Hillary supporters who voted for her in the 2008 primary jumped ship and voted for McCain instead if Obama in the general election. Probably because Clinton has always been McCain-lite throughout her career. Also because those voters were (assumedly) racist.
Everything is for the best in the chocolatiest of all possible boxes.
I don’t think we can disregard how stupid the electorate can be. My favorite explanation from a Trump voter went along the lines of “I was ready to vote for Elizabeth Warren, but she didn’t run, so I voted Trump.” He listed his reasoning, which basically amounted to a broccoli fart.
Aww C’mon. The night before the election, she was at a rally in Pennsylvania.
I’m an idiot who can’t predict nighttime, but I have a feeling political parties are in real trouble. Everything about society over the past 50 years has been about breaking itself down into smaller and smaller groups. People aren’t beer drinkers, they like Grapefruit IPA’s, or Nirto Stouts, or Saisons, or Porters…
Good for her! It’s about time an adult in the Democratic Party stood up and put down all those Leftists and the kids these days who insist on believing in things!
I think we need to hear all about how everyone but her was at fault for not wanting her president. In fact, America did want her. She won by nearly three million votes. She just campaigned in the wrong areas, had about a million things she stood for instead of a core message, and got mired in dealing with how shitty…
Bernie Bros kept her away from campaigning in the Midwest like she should have.
Bernie forced her supporters to claim that Obama wasn’t American in 2008 which Trump then used as the basis of his political career!
That entire passage is absolute bollocks. You can’t name a time Clinton changed her position because of her financial backing from banks because she already had the fucking policy positions they wanted. Why would she need to change?
Ah ha, it was Bernie’s fault. Stupid Sanders started calling Hillary Clinton crooked. Otherwise Trump probably would have spent months talking about her in measured tones, mentioning the nuanced way she was forced to balance the interests of her constituents with the realities of financing a campaign. He basically…
call me crazy, but i think the Democractic party would be wise to cease any and all finger-pointing/blaming/mud-slinging until AFTER the 2020 election.
just sayin.
Ugh...I can’t even with her anymore...
Just want to point out that, among all the weird names parents are giving children these days, I don’t think “Light” is weird at all. In fact, I think it’s kind of nice sounding. I put it in the same category as “River” (from Firely): pretty fictional character names that I’m surprised I never hear in the real world
